e·mer·i·tus (adjective) | an honorary title corresponding to that held last during active service; a status of honor conferred to show respect for a distinguished career.

The Board selected Roycee “Skip” Bland as Secretary emeritus in January 2023 in recognition of his service as Secretary for more than 20 years. Skip was the glue that helped to keep RWSMSF moving forward. He also proved a valued member of the Board during the leadership transition in 2017. Skip is the first to be granted the honor as emeritus.
