Welcome!
On behalf of the Board of Directors, I thank you for visiting the
Rudolph W. Memorial Scholarship Fund, Inc. (RWSMSF) website. The Mu Nu Chapter (Montgomery County, MD) of the Omega Psi Phi
Fraternity, Inc. established RWSMSF in March 1978 with the goals
of supporting African American males in their pursuit of a college education, and supporting Historically Black Colleges & Universities (HBCUs).
Troy Manigault | President of the Board
The Founders of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. recognized the importance of intellect in all matters pertaining to the advancement of humankind. As such, they made Scholarship one of the Fraternity's four Cardinal Principles -- Manhood, Scholarship, Perseverance, and Uplift. Scholarship is no side issue; it is an integral and deep-rooted component of this organization. Every member, Chapter, and District of the Fraternity is dedicated to Scholarship. RWSMSF is an IRS-approved 501(c)(3) non-profit targeted to offer financial assistance to eligible and qualifying African-American male Montgomery County Public School (MCPS) graduating high school seniors who plan to and ultimately enroll at an HBCU to pursue a bachelor's degree.
I trust you will enjoy our website where you may learn more about eligibility and the applicaiton process, our current awardees and past awardees, as well as see information about some of past awardees that we have spotlighted as continuing success stories.
Please visit our Donate page to help deserving young men along their journey to become HBCU students and eventually HBCU graduates. And thank you for your support!
