It should be noted that the Founders of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. recognized the importance of intellect in all matters pertaining to the advancement of humankind. As such, they understood the value of education and made Scholarship one of the Fraternity's four Cardinal Principles -- i.e., Manhood, Scholarship, Perseverance, and Uplift.
Scholarship is no side issue; it is an integral and deep-rooted component of this organization. Every member, Chapter, and District of the Fraternity is dedicated to Scholarship. Thus, RWSMSF was established by the men of Mu Nu Chapter to help increase the number of African-American male college/university students, and to assist in the preservation of HBCUs by providing financial assistance to qualifying and deserving Montgomery County Public School (MCPS) African-American male, graduating high school seniors enrolling in HBCUs.
Please enjoy navigating through our website to become more familiar with RWSMSF. We appreciate you visiting the Donate page to help us continue our efforts to help MCPS African-American male, high school graduating seniors start their HBCU journey.
Thank you for visiting and sharing this website with other, and please check back for additional information and updates about RWSMSF, and especially our scholarship award recipients.
Sincerely
Troy Manigault
